Cafe Golden is a joint with an old-timey Hong Kong feel that opened on MONTH XX in the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC; located at 30 Pak Tin Street, Shek Kip Mei, Kowloon), an arts center known for bringing together local painters, sculptors and other artists.

The cafe is already garnering popularity among Hong Kongers for being a retro establishment that "feels like traveling back in time to a 1960s Hong Konger home."

Golden Cafe uses coffee beans from Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Central America and East Africa to make espressos, lattes and other coffee-based concoctions. Every week features new "specialty coffees" recognized by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE).

Gary, the owner, is determined to make his cafe a place that "provides the best drinks for our clientele."

Business hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
