The Hong Kong International Cheese Festival will be held at the Hullett House hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui and restaurant Armani/Aqua in Central from April 18 to 21.

Visitors to this third annual gathering will be able to savor over 1,200 cheeses from around the world. During the "European-style cheese market" on the 20th and 21st, there will be cheese tasting and selling, in addition to Master Classes with expert cheese makers from France, Italy, Scotland and the Netherlands and lectures on cheese traits and classification.

The Gourmet Cheese Dinners are the main event, offering fine selections such as Cheese Tomette de Chevre made from goat's milk and truffles with salad, or chocolate cake with sheep's milk ice cream. The Wine & Cheese Dinner in Reverse will serve Bourgogne wine with cheese--but after dessert. This unprecedented reversal of the natural dining order will make for a thoroughly enjoyable way of relishing one's cheese.

Admission to the European-style cheese market is free of charge, but the fee for taking a Master Class is HK $198 (plus a 10% surcharge) and the Gourmet Cheese Dinners start at HK $788 (plus a 10% surcharge).
