Glacio, a premium ice cream brand with a proud history of 40 years in Belgium, opened its first store on August 3 in Hong Kong at the K11 Art Mall (location: Shop B101A, Level B1, K11 Art Mall, 18 Hanoi Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon).

Glacio, known worldwide for making ice cream from carefully selected ingredients, mainly supplies ice cream and ice cream-based desserts to hotels and restaurants in Europe and Japan, but now in Hong Kong it has opened the world's first Glacio store for regular consumers.

The store handles 22 types of ice cream flown in from Belgium. They are made with high-quality ingredients such as Filipino coconuts, Japanese green tea, Belgian chocolate and Madagascar vanilla seeds. Prices are HK$30 for one scoop, HK$45 for two and HK$60 for three. The lineup includes rare flavors like coconut sherbet, pear sherbet and Belgian caramel biscuit, while the standard vanilla is a blend of four types of vanilla seeds.

Glacio is working on plans to expand its business elsewhere in Asia in the future.
